The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) recently launched AirConnect to provide daily direct bus service between downtown Columbus and Port Columbus International Airport.
The buses, which will be specially branded similar to the CBus for easy identification, arrive at designated stops in downtown Columbus and at the airport every 30 minutes between 6 am and 9 pm daily to serve hotel, convention center and business visitors. Read more.
The new service is part of larger system wide advancements by COTA to enhance connectivity and accessibility not just for visitors, but residents as well. COTA recently launched several new routes connecting Crosswoods’ park and ride with Polaris and Northern Lights’ park and ride with Easton Town Center. In September, new routes will connect outlying suburbs without first going downtown as most typical suburban routes have done in the past.
