The Columbus District Council of the Urban Land Institute (ULI Columbus) is proud to share the insight2050 Phase I Impact Report, highlighting achievements in efforts to equip elected officials, planners, developers, businesses, residents and other decision-makers with the knowledge and resources to make optimal land use decisions.
insight2050, sponsored by ULI Columbus, the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission and Columbus 2020, is a community-wide effort to involve everyone in determining how our communities evolve to accommodate the population over the next 30+ years that is projected to be dramatically different from the past.
The land use planning decisions that our communities make today will impact their quality of life and economic vitality for years to come. insight2050 is designed to help these communities manage growth to ensure a healthy economy, increased capital investment, jobs for residents, higher tax revenues to support local services and desirable residential communities.
