It is not always about downtown.
The projected population growth in Central Ohio in the year 2050 is to be equal to the entire City of Boston. This growth will not only happen in downtown Columbus–a majority of the growth will be in the suburbs. It is now more important than ever to “encourage compact growth” and to develop “new approaches to solving infrastructure and land use challenges”.
