The mission of the mentoring program is to foster the exchange of professional ideas, friendship, and expertise among young real estate professionals and industry veterans. This program matches young professionals with experienced professionals for guidance and support while offering mentors an opportunity to strengthen ties with the young future leaders of the local real estate community and ULI.
Each mentor group shall consist of two to four ULI members under the age of 35, with interest or experience in a similar product type or sector. Each group is led by one mentor. Mentor groups are expected to meet four times in one year starting in the fall. Meetings can include lessons learned from mentors’ careers, discussion of career goals, case studies, social events, project tours, guest speakers, or anything else mutually agreed upon to further the relationship within the group.
The Mentor Program is only available for ULI Columbus members under the age of 35.
To be a young leader participant in the 2021 ULI Columbus Young Leader Mentorship Program, please complete the online MENTOR PROGRAM APPLICATION by TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2022 BY 11:59 PM (DEADLINE EXTENDED).
Mentees will be accepted based on the information provided by applicants and participating mentors. If you are selected to participate in the 2021 Mentor Program, we will notify you of your acceptance by the middle of March and provide additional information regarding the your mentor pairing.
