ULI Columbus Site Tour: 326 South High Street
Join ULI Columbus for a tour of 326 South High, with the architects BBCO, on Wednesday, February 19th.
BBCO’s 326 South High Street project involved the renovation of a 5-story historic building on High Street in Columbus, OH. Full design services were provided by BBCO, including conceptual design, programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, cost estimates, permitting, bid assistance, owner’s representation, and construction administration.
The building was originally built in 1895 and is currently listed on the National Historic Registry. The entirely of the building had been subdivided into office suites with a double loaded corridor and 8’-0” lay-in ceilings in the 1980’s. BBCO redesigned the entire building as loft-style offices by opening up the floor plates. The building had original hardwood floors throughout that were refinished as well as ceiling heights varying from 10’-0” to 15’-0”. This brought the building back closer to its original open layouts with an abundance of natural light and great views of the city.
